Creating Community: Increasing Access to Services for LGBTQ+ Survivors Part II

The Family Justice Center Alliance and the Family Service of the Piedmont, onsite partners at the Guilford County Family Justice Center, presented a two-part webinar series focused on improving services for the LGBTQ+ community and how to eliminate barriers to service in your organization/Family Justice Center. Part I covered the importance of identity and labels, plus common abuse tactics and roadblocks that LGBTQ+ survivors may be experiencing. Part II discussed the intersection of the LGBTQ+ community and sexual violence with strategies for how to be inclusive of all identities in your responses.
