Created as part of the Domestic Abuse Intervention Project, this wheel depicts the patterns involved in child abuse; it explains the terms intimidation, using institutions, isolation, emotional abuse, economic abuse, threats, and using adult privilege, and portrays them as the central components that lead to violence.
