We focus on creating innovative, collaborative, trauma-informed, hope-centered approaches to supporting
survivors and their children. Our mission is to create pathways to hope through collaborative,
integrated multi-disciplinary centers, teams, and initiatives in order to break the generational cycle
of violence and abuse in families across the United States and around the world.

The Science of Hope
Everything We Do is Hope-Centered
Hope is the most important predictor of long-term outcomes in the lives of survivors.
People with higher hope in their lives navigate their way through trauma better than people with lower hope in their lives, creating better outcomes for survivors. Using a validated Hope Scale, we measure Hope before and after our work with both child and adult survivors of violence and abuse.
